Well, it depend by the owners. Many article directories don't allow to add a link in the text but only in the resource box.

Others allow you to add link in the text. So i suggest you to read the guidelines and the tos of each website you would like to submit your article

Hi iPage
Wordpress has a different system. But you can easily add your ads code in the Theme.
You can create an html page with the code inside and put the include where you want to display it.
Or you can add the ads code directly in the theme pages where you want it.

you can add this code in the topauthors block

just after the code

It’ll be like this

I have a template from you, coolbryce, in which it has this code for the top authors, but is there a way to add the number count of the author after their name? so it looks like
joeuser (433)
jimsomebody (95)
I am not sure how to do it, or where it would appear in the code from this page.
